Within 2 business days of submitting your inquiry form, you will receive your design contract and an invoice for the deposit for your project. You can digitally sign your contract so there is no need to print and scan anything!

Things are really starting to get real which means it’s time to select your project start date and to schedule project milestone dates into your calendar. Make sure you have ample time to complete the pre-project work so your project is not delayed.

Once you have selected your project start date, you will receive an email with your digital welcome basket.  You’ll get access to our special client tutorials, layouts and  questionnaires which will help you figure out the look and vibe of your new website.

DESIGN

This is where the rubber hits the road. In as little as one week, your new website will be designed and launched.

This is the start of the design of your new website. We will review all of the information you provided to us from the client checklist and begin designing.

The initial draft of your website is complete and we will send you a special website link so you can review it and request any changes.

Once you’ve reviewed your (draft) website, revision requests are to be submitted back to us within 24 hours of receiving the special website link.

Once we receive your revisions, we will make the necessary changes and complete a final testing of your new website to ensure there are no broken links or bugs. At this point, you will receive a final invoice for the remaining balance which is due upon receipt.

This is the day you’ve been patiently waiting for – launch day! Once your final payment has been received, it’s time to launch your new website for the world to see. You will receive your files and account information via Google docs. Additional training and website maintenance is available if you need and can be added onto your package at any time.

Hello, Hola, Hi.

I’m Lauren, the “Lo” in Studio Lo Creative

I’m a website designer living the dream in a beach town in Mexico with my husband and our rescue dog, Gizmo. My favorite things are Reggae music, Mexican food and paddle boarding.

I have a degree in Interior Design from Ryerson University in Toronto and I worked as a designer for over 12 years.

While I loved the creative aspect of interior design, I was not well suited for the cubicle life and longed to find something which would give me the ability to be location-independent and to set my own hours.

After some serious soul searching, I stumbled upon website design and enrolled in Mount Royal University in Calgary to upgrade my skills. I studied coding, graphic design and WordPress, all of which I use daily in my website projects.

Throughout my career, I’ve also started several businesses so I truly understand the pressures and the hustle involved with being an entrepreneur. My goal is to build websites that help entrepreneurs grow and sustain their businesses.

When can my project start?

We book projects on a first-come, first-serve basis meaning your project can be booked for the next available time slot or you can choose an available time slot that works best for your schedule.

What if I need extra features not listed in the available add-on options?
Chances are we can accommodate most requests. We will provide a quote prior to any work being completed.
Do you offer any in-person or Skype meetings?

I am based near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and I conduct most of my meetings online using Skype or other similar applications. If required, I can meet with clients who are local to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. 

What happens once my website is completed and launched?

Once a website is completed and launched, it is completely up to you how you want to maintain it.

Websites built using WordPress need periodic care through theme, plugin and security updates otherwise it can be at risk for hackers and other performance issues.

We offer ongoing support which can be added onto your website package or purchased at anytime in the future.

What's your payment policy?

We accept payment via Stripe which accepts most major credit cards.

Payment Schedule:

  • Initial Deposit (75%) – due upon signing of your design contract
  • Final payment (25%) – due upon website approval to be paid in full before your website is launched
  • 100% additional costs for stock images, licenses or additional items to be paid in full before your website is launched
What's your cancellation policy?

Due to the condensed timeline and the creative nature of the work, no refunds will be offered for projects which are cancelled or postponed.

Cancellation or hold requests must be made in writing via email sent to lo@studiolocreative.com.

Files will not be released nor will websites be launched until final payment is received.

What are your studio hours?

Our studio hours may vary from week to week but our typical hours are Monday to Saturday from 11am – 4pm.
